About Our Founders

The story of Gateway Product Assessment is a unique one. Our founders met when Mr. Gabriel ‘Gabe’ Griesbaum J.D. was visiting China soon after graduating from the University of Texas School of Law. While in Shijiazhuang, Mr. Griesbaum met Mr. Dou Songlin.

Our founders quickly discovered a mutual dream of bridging the cultural and economic divide between China and the West. As their friendship grew, Mr. Griesbaum managed a successful marketing strategy for some of Mr. Dou’s ongoing cultural exchange enterprises. While working together they found another commonality, a persistent habit of dealing honestly with each other. They quickly grew close, relishing in a shared vision of doing their small part to promote cooperation and peace in the world.

When the idea surfaced of starting Gateway Product Assessment, the two friends were immediately intrigued by the proposal. GPA was an opportunity to pursue their common goal of advancing peace and reducing cultural misunderstandings. A mutual enterprise was the perfect vehicle for their aspirations.

Our founders mesh well. Mr. Dou has extensive experience with Chinese product investigations and Chinese market analysis. In addition, Mr. Dou has access to a myriad of useful contacts from a variety of successful businesses facilitating cultural exchange between China and the West. Mr. Griesbaum supplies professional online marketing, a family history of entrepreneurship in Texas, and many years of training in professional legal writing. Together they form an ideal international team.

When you contact GPA, you will be contacting Mr. Griesbaum. Mr. Griesbaum consults with GPA clients and personally reviews every report created by our entirely American writing staff. He and his staff will work directly with you to answer all of your questions and design the investigation you need to get the answers you want. Mr. Dou oversees our investigations, and personally double checks our findings. Mr. Griesbaum and Mr. Dou are in constant contact, guaranteeing a cohesive and timely response to every client.
